Dealing With Workers

In every work their are always complaints from the workers. One major complaint was, working from dawn til dusk. The Chinese workers order to have at least ten hours of work, they hated working long hours and never being home. They also wanted to have a raise of $5, these complaints led to a strike. During the strike Crocker cut off the workers supplies, stopped agents from delivering them food and provisions to their camps. Moreover Crocker made the butchers stop from providing meat, and worst of all he let his men sitting in their camps for weeks. If the Chinese workers decided not to work throughout the whole month of June, they wouldn't get paid. In conclusion they heard that news, leading to some of the workers to return.
